Job Description

The Paid Media Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day management of paid digital marketing campaigns which can include paid search, display and social advertising strategies. Responsible for creating and optimizing paid media channels to support the demand generation team’s goals. This role drives innovation on both the strategic and campaign level, cultivates key partnerships to develop the best digital media opportunities, and executes a variety of online media campaigns across display, mobile, social, and video.

Responsibilities

  • Own all paid media marketing channels (AdWords, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Content Syndication, etc.)
  • Build out media buys for various ad platforms and oversee the day-to-day execution of paid media
  • Define, measure, and evaluate relevant paid media KPIs
  • Oversee and manage the overall budget for paid media
  • Actively engage in our fast-paced ‘Test & Learn’ operating approach by conducting and analyzing results and applying learnings to impact future testing and campaign optimizations to drive ROI.
  • Develop and maintain paid search tactics that increase site traffic, conversions, and revenue
  • Support the Demand Gen team in the development of campaign plans
  • Drive segmentation strategies and testing
  • Provide ongoing actionable insights into campaign performance to relevant stakeholders
  • Maintaining knowledge of industry best practices and new technologies
  • Miscellaneous support for all other areas of the department on an as-needed basis (i.e. proofreading, event participation, etc.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience with SEM, other paid media, and analytics
  • Exceptional analytical skills to lead paid media campaign efforts and guide decision making to achieve goals set to help grow the brand
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Work with the entire team to develop marketing strategies
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
