Shift Lead (Saint George)

Utah, St george 00000 St george USA

Vacancy caducado!

We are currently looking for someone to fill our shift lead positions. Our expectations for a shift lead would be someone who can do their job well, knows what needs to be done, and can delegate a team to make sure expectations are met. We would start by training you as we would a normal member of the crew. We'd give you time to get used to the responsibilities and duties needed. Then when you're used to everything and have met everyone we'll add on the shift lead responsibilities. We have two positions available, one being our night crew shift lead, and the other being our weekend shift lead.

For the night crew shift lead we offer both full-time and part-time options. Although full-time would be preferred so we could have consistent supervision throughout the week. Night shifts will usually be from 5PM-10PM on weeknights and 5PM-11PM on weekends, this isn't including the time it will take you to clean up the store after closing (This is because closing times will fluctuate, you should never need to stay more than an hour and will be able to leave as soon as night assignments are finished and done well).

For the weekend shift lead part-time is preferred, although Sundays are required. Part-Time preferred for this position, since it would be easier to fit into the schedule. These shifts would generally be from 9AM-5PM on Saturday and from 11AM-6PM on Sundays. Sunday's do run a bit differently and we are open from 1PM-6PM so you will need to open and close the store that day - along with your co-workers.

The tasks you'll have as a shift lead are as follows:

Help maintain a clean store throughout the shift - It can get very busy at times so this is just to make sure the counters are clean, as well as everything is stocked and looking nice for customers.

Make sure the mix-ins are restocked if they're running low throughout the shift.

Make sure customers are greeted with a smile while they enter the store.

Assist with any problems that happen throughout the shift, this could be with customers, store functions like the WI-FI or the Register, and running out of stuff throughout the shift. Mostly you'll respond to these things by communicating problems to the managers, and making sure to apologize for any inconveniences/ doing what you can to fix issues based off of what you know.

Making sure all objectives are done and done well. Another part of this is to make sure things that maybe weren't done right the first time get done right before leaving. During training we'll go over the objectives you'll need to do based off of weather you're working the night shift, or a weekend morning shift.

Make sure that as long as there is something to be done that people stay busy during their shift.

Night shifts and weekends can be very busy, and along with that can get great tips. We have a very friendly staff and are always good for a laugh. We are looking for more of a long term employee, someone who will be reliable and responsible. It's important that this person be assertive and knows how to tell others what to do without coming off as rude or overtly bossy. We're excited to see that you're interested in the job, and would love to hear from you soon!
