Email Me Similar Jobs Email Me This JobThis position receives, stores, and distributes material, tools, equipment and products within the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions. This is a seasonal position that may last up to 6 months. Hours for the position are Monday through Thursday, 4:30 PM to 3:00 AM. A day on the job may include:

Assisting receiving loading and unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales ordersand distributing to sales associates for processing

Distributing products throughout the warehouse

Delivering products to customer delivery points

Performing preventive maintenance on equipment (delivery truck, forklift, etc.) and facilities

Safely operating a forklift

Pull and prepare internal orders for transportation

Receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material

Ensure warehouse is clean, organized, secure and safe at all times

Assist drivers with deliveries as needed

Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or product code

Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate method

Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed via appropriate computer program

Assist in counting of physical inventory

Other duties as assigned

This job may be for you if you can:

Lift, carry, and load up to 65 Lbs.

Capable of sitting for up to 8 hours a day

Capable of walking distances

Capable of walking up several flights of stairs

Physical ability to stand for extended periods; walking, bending, stooping, and kneeling frequently

This job may be for you if you have:

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent

Strong computer skills are required including familiarity with Windows-based programs such as Microsoft productivity tools (e.g., Excel, Word, and Outlook)

MAS

Able to accurately and consistently operate the scanner

6 months prior warehouse experience

Strong organizational, multi-tasking, problem-solving, and analytical skills

Working knowledge of safety regulations and procedures

Excellent verbal and written communication skills required

Extra Awesome:

1 year of prior warehouse experience

Should be able to work independently and multi-task

Ability to speak Spanish would be a plus

Forklift Operating Certification
