Sego Church (segochurch.com) is looking for individuals who are excited to make a positive impact in their local community through their specific skills and talents. As with any new start up, there is a lot to do, and we’re looking for the right people to help us do it! From musicians, singers, graphic designers, audio/video gurus, and people who like to work with kids…we’re looking for you and we want to meet you! Some of these roles would be volunteer, and others would be paid. Hours are flexible, and flexibility is required.
Worship Pastor:
The worship pastor will oversee recruiting of the team, as well as team building and team leading for any worship experience of Sego Church
Organize and lead practices
Will assume pastoral and discipleship care of the worship teams.
Work with the audio/video team to manage computers, sound and video equipment used in worship
Check and prepare stage sound equipment
Manage and maintain stage presentation.
Possibly lead worship for student ministries and events.
Help develop student talents and leadership.
Serve as a resource and assist in children’s music and worship (VBS, special events, etc.)
Preschool Pastor: (Infant - Kindergarten)
Recruit a team of volunteers
Train volunteers in all aspects of the kids ministry policies and procedures
Collaborate with the the team to develop ministry content for kids
Lead volunteers in the weekend services and periodic special events
Implement children’s registration, classroom management, and security policies/practices in support of weekend services and periodic special events.
Children’s Pastor: (Kindergarten - 5th grade)
Recruit a team of volunteers
Train volunteers in all aspects of the kids ministry policies and procedures
Collaborate with the the team to develop ministry content for kids
Lead volunteers in the weekend services and periodic special events
Implement children’s registration, classroom management, and security policies/practices in support of weekend services and periodic special events.
Direct the recruitment, training, and development of volunteers as needed to staff children’s ministry classrooms and special events.
Audio/Video:
Oversee sound/video/light ministry.
Prepare and input media for services (in coordination with Media Director)
Plan lighting design for worship services
Set up and install equipment such as microphones, sound speakers, video screens, projectors, video monitors, recording equipment, connecting wires and cables, sound and mixing boards for events and functions.
Set up and operate sound equipment.
Perform duties on location.
Graphic Design:
Create and design various materials for print and digital collateral
Ensure projects are completed with high quality and on schedule
Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions
Work with a wide range of media and use graphic design software
Musicians:
Superb musical talent, creativity, and drive
A love for Jesus and music and bringing that all together
