We are looking for a strong electrical-mechanical R&D technologist that is familiar with developing electrical and mechanical components and sub-systems. Within this team, you will be responsible to execute test plans for life tests (using medical CT gantry equipment and HV sub-systems) and product specification verification and validation protocols. This includes setting up the equipment for the testing, instrumenting the test (oscilloscopes, thermocouples, data collection devices, accelerometers, etc.), and documenting the results. Strong experience with test equipment. The ideal candidate has worked with X-ray or CT tubes and is familiar with using high voltage generators, x-ray tubes, and laboratory measurement equipment.

You will be supporting a high-end development department working on next generation medical CT components. You will be joining a diverse R&D group that develops and integrates a high voltage imaging chain for major and developing OEM CT partners and has a lot of fun doing it. Skill Requirements:

Experience working with electro-mechanical systems “ preferably x-ray or CT equipment

In-depth hands on experience in functional testing and troubleshooting thermo-mechanical and electro-mechanical devices (heat exchangers, mechanical assemblies, electro-magnetic components, x-ray generators, etc.)

In-depth hands on experience with test equipment and data collection methods (oscilloscopes, accelerometers, environmental chambers, flow measurement, etc.)

Strong technical writing/documentation skills

Amiable team player attitude and attention to detail and willingness to be meticulous and thorough

General knowledge of common manufacturing processes and assembly methods (machining, forming, bending, casting, molding, fastening methods, welding, brazing, etc.) and metals (steels, copper, refractory), ceramics, and polymers

Highly motivated and self-driven
