HallPass, a fast-paced restaurant, is looking for a cashier with experience providing stellar customer service and working in hospitality. If you are ridiculously awesome, love to make people smile, and love accomplishing great things we would love to have you join us.
POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for ensuring every guest has a memorable experience by offering menu recommendations, answering questions about menu items and providing quality customer service. Our cashiers are more than just money takers, they are the HallPass brand - not only is our food ridiculously awesome, but so is our team! Daily tasks include ringing in orders, taking payments, serving food & drinks - all with our signature smiley service!
RESPONSIBILITIES
Greet and interact with each guest as they order with a friendly smile and attitude.
Provide information on menu items and ingredients while efficiently taking their order.
Employ approved suggestive selling techniques to help customers who are undecided.
Verify food for consistency
Perform side work duties as directed by a manager.
Clean tables and counters in the dining room area and/or maintain cleanliness of the facility.
Work with management to address any guest issues.
Ensure that entrances are kept clean and welcoming.
Create a positive, and welcoming environment for guests, vips, and others.
Fully represent the HallPass brand, it’s history, future and community.
QUALIFICATIONS
Read and follow directions accurately.
Ability to communicate with guests and fellow team members.
Must be 18 years or older.
Valid Utah food handlers permit.
1 year plus of recent Customer Service experience.
Comfortable standing for entire shift
Comfortable lifting 40 lbs. on a regular basis
Comfortable with operating a point of sale system.
Flexible on hours of availability and scheduling.
Ability to work independently.
Comfortable working in a fast paced, high volume work environment.
Experience:
Customer Service: 1+ years (Required)
Restaurant Serving: 1+ years (Preferred)
