A custom garage floor adds beauty and utility, giving garages a finished look and making it a more user-friendly space for however customers choose to use it: parking cars, storage, sports equipment maintenance, laundry center, workbench, home gym, hobby center or even an entertainment nook.
With a wide variety of color and finish options, Tailored Living featuring Premier Garage can coordinate floors with garage cabinets, other furnishings such as a bright red washer and dryer, the car, or even the customers favorite teams logo. All garage flooring options are designed to withstand the high traffic and heavy use that a garage endures on a daily basis. The easy-to-clean floor can help to prevent harmful concrete particles commonly found in unsealed concrete from being tracked into the home. Easier to care for than concrete, these solutions can create the ideal floor for a busy garage.

Position Overview
Reporting to the corporate owner/CEO, the Epoxy Floor Installer is a specialized role and has the ability to complete floor installation from start to finish with confidence. This position works on various sites, both residential and commercial, and works in accordance with Tailored Livings standard operating procedure. The main responsibility of this role is to provide the highest level of installation standards while maintaining a professional attitude with the utmost respect for the customers property.
Our ideal candidate has a minimum of two years successful epoxy floor installation experience and is a driven and competitive self-starter. Initial and continuous training will be provided. We are looking to hire someone who is hard working, has an eye for detail, is reliable and who genuinely enjoys working with as desire to exceed the customers expectations.
All state-of-the-art equipment and high-quality tools will be provided.
RESPONSIBILITIES include, but may not be limited to:
Inspection and assembly of materials and articles to specified standards
Install epoxy or specialized flooring according to the instructions and designs provided
As a Mixer desired experience with precisely measuring and mixing materials to be used, pot life and proper application. Have a knowledge of cure times and re-coat times
As an Applicator desired experience with various application methods and proper types of application for each specific floor job
Skilled in repairing concert where needed
Ability to trouble shoot problems and issues in the field
Loading supplies into delivery truck or trailer
Unloading truck/trailer at end of day and prepare vehicle for next days schedule
Installing epoxy flooring in residential garages or commercial locations
Participates in and demonstrates an understanding of safety principles and practices; follows all safety policies and procedures to support a safe working environment, including safe operation of machines and equipment
Ability to drive a Box Truck or tow a 16 ft. enclosed trailer to and from job site. Most job sites will be in Utah and Salt Lake Counties
Well-versed in setting up and operating a variety of concrete machines and various hand tools to perform installation
Will always practice good housekeeping to ensure a safe and non-cluttered worksite
Ensure work is completed as requested by the customer, and Tailored Living Project Manager to their standards
Ascertain that tools, material and equipment are readily available for each job assignment
Be coachable Open to constructive criticism and able to adapt
Continue to learn and grow your skillset

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Desired minimum of 2-years in epoxy floor application
Ability to bring great results from ordinary and difficult circumstances; prepares for problems or opportunities in advance; undertakes additional responsibilities and responds to situations as they arise without supervision
Required to learn and have a knowledge of epoxy, garage floor coatings, clear sealing and surface prep
Possess the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure
Excellent hand tool skills
Ability to work within a team or independently as needed
Valid Drivers License with clean driving record
Must be authorized to work in the United States
A minimum of a high school diploma or GED
Must be able to safely lift heavy objects. Physical dexterity and strength are given prerequisites
Attention to detail is a must
Ability to exercise sound judgment with maturity, tact, diplomacy, integrity, and professionalism in every situation
Exceptional listener and communicator
Employ a positive mindset, a can-do and will-do attitude
Willing to work evenings and occasional weekends necessary to do the job effectively.
Periodic travel may be required
