We are seeking a dedicated Filling Machine Operator who brings a high level of responsibility and dedication to the position.
Responsibilities:
Set up and program filling machine prior to start of shift.
Vigilant and perceptive while operating the machinery to avoid spills and to ensure high quality.
Efficiency and speed are imperative to meet daily quotas and operate the machinery for several hours at a time.
Responsible for performing simple maintenance on the machines.
Troubleshoot and understand machinery operation.
Operate machinery in a fast-paced and dynamic manufacturing environment.
Requirements:
3-5 years of experience as a Machine Operator (food or nutritional supplement industry is a plus).
Must read, write and speak English.
Ability to lift up to 75lbs. on a regular basis.
Must have reliable transportation (bus stop is 1/2 mile from facility).
Must be able to adhere to a work schedule of Mon - Fri 6am - 2:30pm.
Must be willing to work OT as necessary.
