We have immediate openings for licensed contractors and/or employee-based installers responsible for installing carpeting, vinyl and tile. Our company stays extremely busy installing flooring for large home improvement retailers in the surrounding areas throughout Utah. This means a high volume of work all year round!
Schedule:
Monday-Friday scheduled installations with overtime possibilities
Pay Scale (Contractor / Employees):

Min Requirements for Contractors Include:
Have a registered and active business entity, in good standing
A minimum of three-year flooring installation experience
Licensure where required by law
Must have reliable transportation and flooring installation tools and ability to use technology
Meet contract insurance requirements
Pass a Background check
Excellent Customer Service and Communication skills
All Helpers required to pass a Background check and be badged
Min Requirements for Employees Include:
Minimum 3 years’ experience
Pass a criminal background check
Valid Driver’s License
Reliable transportation
Excellent Customer Service and Communication skills
Ability to identify and know how to work with different types of flooring materials
Ability to use equipment and tools unique to each type of flooring being installed
Duties:
. Prepare Floor Surfaces for installation or repair
. Sweep, scrape, sand, and chip away debris and irregularities from the floor’s base surface. In order to create a
clean and level surface, they may fill cracks in with putty or cement.
. Remove previous flooring material as needed
. Measure, cut any flooring or mix needed adhesives to be applied evenly to the new floor
. Review flooring for signs errors during installation or carpet seams
. Install all flooring surfaces to manufacture specifications
. Maintain a high level of craftsmanship at all times
. Provide excellent communication skills to work well with customers and coworkers
Working Conditions:
Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) to protect themselves from dust and mold which may be present in the flooring materials being removed.
Operate standard hand tools including: a tape measure, hammer, T-square, chalk line, flooring cutters, tile cutters, carpet stretchers and knee kickers.
Physical stamina is required for constant kneeling, bending, and reaching. Ability to move heavy equipment and materials and must be able to regularly lift 75 pounds
