The East Shore Smoke House is hiring line cooks for temporary work during the summer, as well as regular part time or full time work.
We are a family-owned restaurant and bar in Polson, MT. We offer our customers a unique Montana dining experience with an uncompromising quality of services and products. We are looking for friendly, service-minded and hardworking individuals to join our dynamic team. The East Shore Smoke House offers competitive compensation and a positive, team-oriented work environment.
During fall, winter and spring we organize 5 course wine tasting events every 1st Thursday of the month where we serve special courses that are not commonly found in this area. These have been a huge success and created a following with our customers, but it is also a great experience for our staff to work with exotic or diverse products.

Job responsibilities:
Check freshness of food and ingredients
Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas for cleanliness and functionality
Rotate food supplies when stowing away deliveries
Monitor and maintain sanitation practices and follow kitchen safety standards
Prepare meals, expedite food orders and perform quality control
Maintain a clean kitchen at all times
Prep kitchen before meal times
Prepare food as ordered
Qualifications:
Degree in culinary arts preferred
Understand different culinary profiles and cooking techniques
Capable of following instructions without variation
Capable to work safely, efficient and neatly
Able to work in high pace environment and have good communication skills.
Ability to lift 50 lbs
Willing to work weekends and night
