Description: Embedded position within the Ogden Air Logistics Complex’s F-16 System Program Office (SPO) and the 309th Software Maintenance Group (SMXG) that develops, tests, and fields F-16 aircraft Operational Flight Program (OFP) software for the United States Air Force (USAF) and European Participating Air Forces (EPAF). The organization also tests and fields aircraft system and weapons upgrades or modifications. Extensive involvement with ground testing in System Integration Labs (SIL) and flight testing at Developmental Test and Evaluation (DT&E) and Operational Test and Evaluation (OT&E) sites. Provide a unique interface between OFP development and flight test organizations. Provide ground and flight test support for F-16 Avionics/Hardware and OFP maintenance programs by 1) Coordinating Stores Management System (SMS) support equipment issues and test SMS test set compatibility with OFP releases. 2) Identify nuclear weapon issues relating to OFP releases, support Nuclear Program Officer Meetings (NPOM), and provide SMS tester support for Nuclear Aircraft Monitor And Control (AMAC) testing. 3) Support the establishment of ground and flight test requirements. 4) Participate in test plan development. 5) Participate in pre-flight and post-flight briefings and assist with test execution. 6) Review and evaluate test data, Watch Items (WIT), Software Problem Anomaly Reports (SPAR), and System Design Requests (SDR). 7) Support Technical Order (TO) review, risk reduction, and OFP kit-proofing events.Applicant selected will be subject to a government security clearance investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Must be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance. Must be a US citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Position requires occasional travel.Basic Qualifications:Associates degree from an accredited College or University.Tactical aircraft weapons and avionics maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting experience.Experience with Laser guided and Inertial Navigation System (INS)/Global Positioning System (GPS) Air to Ground (A/G) weapon systems.Experience with all major types of Air-to-Air (A/A) missile guidance systems.Experience interfacing with civilian government, DoD, and industry representatives.Desired Skills:Bachelors degree from an accredited College or University.Extensive knowledge of F-16 aircraft systems, weapons, and avionics. Experience maintaining and troubleshooting F-16 systems, weapons, and avionics.Knowledge and practical experience operating and troubleshooting the Stores Management Systems (SMS) and SERD 75060 Stores System Testers (SST).Must be self-motivated, possess exceptional interpersonal skills, and be able to work well in a team environment.Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.Sun Microsystems, and Microsoft Office Applications Familiarity.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:job.QualificationsLockheed Martin is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
