Position Summary: JCW Construction is currently seeking immediate laborers for our Truck Mounted Attenuator Driver Positions to control traffic along roads and highways. Primary job function is to keep traffic flowing through a construction zone, despite a shutdown of lanes. Drivers may put out traffic cones and use signs and hand signals to communicate with motorists, and also know how to use a 2-way radio in order to communicate with other employees and co-workers.
Qualifications:
-High School Diploma/GED
-Valid Texas Drivers License with clean driving record (over age 25 preferred) and Social Security
-Knowledge of local driving rules and regulations
-Maintain proper safety equipment required for each job
-Ability to adjust to changing work schedule
-Ability to work safely under ranging environmental conditions
-Must be able to endure outdoor weather conditions
-Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds; other strenuous manual labor may be required
Schedule: Part-time; Monday-Thursday, Day Shifts beginning at 7AM with a morning meeting scheduled by Crew Leader with all team members.
Compensation: Pay based on experience. Beginning pay at $10/hour with no experience. Paid training provided. Weekly pay EVERY Friday.
