Job Summary :
The iHeartmedia Business Process Engineering (BPE) team uses a LEAN and Six Sigma tools and methodologies to continuously improve the company’s performance in areas such as Costs, Service and Quality.
An iHeart Business Process Engineer works closely with the IT organization and key stakeholders across specific lines of business to facilitate the following high-level activities :
1. Business Process Identification 2. Review and Document As-Is Process(es)3. Design an Optimized To-Be Process(es)4. Test, Implement & Measure To-Be Process(es) Document and / or validate the current state or As-Is business process
Conduct Interviews with Business Stakeholders and SMEs that contribute, receive output from and / or oversee the process
Ride shotgun to manually observe task level activities conducted by those contributing
Analyze current process performance and find any process gaps or disconnects
Facilitate pain-point discussions to gain clarity re : process gaps and inefficiencies
When possible and / or appropriate, conduct data analysis to more clearly understand process defects or failure rates
Identify Opportunities for process improvement and validate them with appropriate stakeholders Design and document the most optimal future-state process map(s)
Done objectively with a focus on people, process & technology
Implement future state changes and be mindful of dependencies
As noted, certain people and process changes may be implemented before a technology solution is realized.Conversely, people and process changes typically occur in conjunction with the adoption of new technology
