What you’ll be doing As a Verizon Professional Services Engagement Coordinator, you’re responsible for solving technical problems and providing solutions to our customer. You will be responsible for the management of a project, with the main focus on implementation of a technically sound solution that ensures what was sold to the customer is accurately delivered on time, on budget and to the highest quality. You will typically be involved in a project from the kick-off to the end when the project is transitioned to post-production support.

Solvingproblems and provides solutions and process designs.

Leadingand managingthe phases of a project life cycle: Initiation, Planning, Executing, Controlling, and Closing.

Proposingand implementingassessment recommendations.

Demonstrating effective presentation and communications skills to accurately represent and convey information both in verbal and written form to multiple levels of an organization.

Supportingthe PM lead of the project teams.

Trackingand managingadherence to the approved project scope and budget.

Demonstratingclear and consistent ownership and accountability for the assigned responsibilities in a Statement of Work.

Requiringdocumentation, recording meeting minutes, tracking resource time, tracking project financials, documenting project risk log, and documenting project issue log.

What we’re looking for You'll need to have:

Bachelor’s degree with four or more years of work experience.

Six or more years of relevant experience.

Experience with MS Office, including Word, Excel, Presentation, Project and Visio.

Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Even better if you have:

Bachelor's degree in STEM related field.

Six or more years of experience managing projects in a related field.

Willingness to pursue Certified Associate Project Manager (CAPM) exam within the first year of employment.

Ability to maintain composure in challenging situations and be detail-oriented.

Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.

Ability to manage competing and conflicting priorities.

Abilityto remember and recall semantic and factual information.

Experience working in dynamic and fast-pacedenvironment independently.

Able to work nights and weekends when necessary

Strong organization skills with ability to store and recall large volumes of information.

Desire for continued technical growth.
