Job Description - Security Analyst
Currently seeking a Security Analyst who can join our existing team and help support a variety of client needs on a daily basis. We'd like to find someone who has experience working within very diverse backgrounds related to security. Ideally someone with their CISSP or who has plans to achieve soon. Essential Duties:- Assist with build out of SolarWinds monitoring solutions servers, applications, network devices using WMI, SNMP, PowerShell
- Assist with strategy and technology road map for our Customers' Cyber Security Programs
- Provide hands-on technical capability
- Provide security consulting and implementation recommendations to external teams.
- Participate in documenting secure architecture and design strategies and road maps for cloud and customer solutions
- Ensure cyber security risks and vulnerabilities are logged, analyzed and vetted for accuracy within SLAs.
- Participate in the implementation of cloud and customer solutions cybersecurity standards and policies Assist with the assessment of cloud and 3rd party hosted environments
- Continually evaluate new threats, solutions and the impact on IT and Business operations and balancing these needs to develop and implement the best security solutions for the business
- Work closely with the Infrastructure Services to ensure that platform-specific solutions meet the needs of all functional, security requirements and architecture design.
- Work with business analysts and business owners to understand the requirements in order to design solutions.
- Able to deploy and troubleshoot systems hands-on.
- Share best practices and lessons learned and continuously update the technical Cybersecurity architecture based on changing technologies in collaboration with other domain architects.
- Recommend and participate in the design and implementation of standards, tools, and methodologies.
- Experience in configuring, operating and/or troubleshooting SolarWinds.
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or Equivalent Experience (High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of industry experience
- Minimum of 4 years of information technology experience
- Minimum of 1 year of information security, IT Compliance or Cloud Development/Deployment experience
- Experience with Penetration Testing
- Good command of scripting (Powershell, Python etc)
- Hands-on experience with cloud applications and infrastructures
- Hands-On experience with customer and commercial IT solutions
- Understanding of cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities related to IT system architectures and design
- Familiarity with NIST or ISO security requirements
