Job Description
Senior Stryker Technician for the Contract Logistics Support (CLS) Team
Ensure Supervisor/Manager is aware of critical issues and able to make appropriate strategic decisions based on information supplied
Actively engage in promoting a workplace free from environmental health and safety related hazards including the training and ensuring proper use of personal protective equipment
Coordinates with PM Stryker as required
Qualifications
Must have an extensive background with the maintenance and fielding of the Stryker Family of Ground Combat Vehicles
6 to 9 years related work experience required.
Must be able to gain access to U.S. or foreign military bases or facilities
Must be a U.S. person
Excellent communication skills along with professional demeanor that extends to all levels of the organization along with strong interpersonal skills
Acquired knowledge of processes, products and military technology in support of the CLS Team
Coordinate and collaborate with other mechanics and supervision to ensure processes are aligned
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and capable of working independently with minimal errors as well as work as an integral member of the CLS Team
Must be able to handle day to day confrontation in a manner that results in a positive outcome and demonstrate experience in building relationships and positively motivating teams
Display the ability to guide and relay instructions to small maintenance team(s) as required (POC)
Demonstrate the ability to mentor/train junior or replacement mechanics on technique and lessons learned
Ensure that employees are completing work assignments according to contract specification
Willingness to travel to other, vendor, field, and test locations within and outside USA
Must have a valid State Driver's License and be able to obtain a Stryker License and ASR
Thorough knowledge and highly skilled using Microsoft Office Applications
