We are a Health Insurance Agency specializing in assisting the senior market. We have a position open for a Customer Service Associate. This position requires a person who is dedicated, compassionate, patient and alert. Must be able to work under pressure and a high volume of calls regarding member issues. You must be fluent in Spanish 90% of our members are Spanish speaking. Must be able to understand, speak and read Spanish and English.
Job Description:
As a Customer Service Associate, you will help and work with members assisting to improve their health, well-being and sense of security. The primary role of a Customer Service Associate is to respond to complex inquiries regarding benefits, billing, eligibility, coverage and other related information and provide solutions for members.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Answer and handle telephone calls described in the call programs, to identify, process, and resolve inquiries.
Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, following established guidelines and follow through to customer resolutions.
Responsible for documenting calls in the specific business system.
Responsible to work cases assigned by the agent.
Tend to members in an quick friendly manner while making them feel comfortable and resolving their issues.
Job Requirements
Creative problem solving, critical thinking and empathy skills are essential. Professional interaction, active and passive listening skills and the ability to utilize computer- based resources in a highly effective manner to educate and provide accurate responses to customer inquiries is crucial for success in the role, along with the innate ability to be compassionate and empathetic when appropriate when handling complex customer inquiries.
Requirements, fluent Spanish! No exceptions! Background check and police report will be required. Must be patient empathetic and caring!
