EVENING LIVE IN CAREGIVER NEEDED
My husband, 9-year-old son, and I live in Bedford. I have had ALS for 5 years.
We have a reliable (and fantastic) weekday caregiver that does most of the housework, meal prep, and bathing but are in need of an evening caregiver.
Hours begin daily 5:00 p.m. feeding, rest rooming, changing, meds, and getting me in bed. At times, I need help during the night. Getting our son off to school each day is an important part of the job. Saturday help will be needed as well. We hope to find someone that will be a part of our family for a long time
Candidate must be:
Proactive and be able to know how to pre-plan for what is needed for daily care
Self-starter and a quick learner
Sensitivity to confidentiality is a must
Resourceful and exercise initiative and good judgment
Able to perform physical duties of caregiving including transfers and turning in bed
Positive Christian spirit who loves children and dogs
Experience is a plus but not mandatory
This position is excellent for someone in school or working during the day
We offer full room and board, meals, private bedroom/bath, kitchen, laundry, & pool use & a monthly salary
