to grow and lead the change with us. The Data Integration
Engineer – Data Platform Infrastructure Services is responsible for the end to
end engineering of integration platforms and solutions for TMNA. In this
role, the Integration Engineer will be responsible for the design and delivery
of integration platforms for batch, real-time, and application data movements
to facilitate business data needs and decision making. What you’ll be doing
Provide leadership, strategic
direction, engineering and platform support for Enterprise Integration
including ETL, ELT, Data Services, Web Service Messaging, Cloud
Integration, Replication and Enterprise Data Governance platforms.
Be a Toyota technical subject
matter expert for our data integration platforms.
Must be knowledgeable of how to
integrate and support the exchange of data, in batch and real time modes,
relational databases (Oracle, MS SQL, Postgres), non-relational databases
(Mongo, Cloudera, etc), and cloud environments (including PaaS and SaaS deployment
models).
Support the management of the
Enterprise Integration platforms to include tech uplift planning,
evaluation of new products and enhancements, management of total cost of
ownership
Translate business needs and
capabilities for data integration into platform designs, tool evaluations,
and innovative solutions to support new use cases.
Actively participate in
technology design for all components of Enterprise Integration for TMNA
Projects
Provide oversight and code
review of integrations and queries before promotion to production
environments to ensure compliance with standards and operational
efficiency.
What you bring
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Management Information Systems or related discipline, or equivalent work experience
Should be knowledgeable of the following technologies: Informatica, SSIS, MQ Series, Restful Services, JSON, XML, and Data Integration security
Experienced with data integration and supporting the exchange of data in batch and real time modes with sources and targets including but not limited to; Oracle, MS SQL, Postgres, Mongo, Cloudera
Experience engineering integration solutions in complex environments including public and private cloud environments
Experience with integrating and supporting the exchange of data
Added bonus if you have
Public cloud certification with AWS, Azure or Google would also be favorable.
