EHC is urgently seeking CNC Machinist in and around Orange, TX.

The CNC Machinist II sets up and operates CNC machines in a safe and productive manner, skilled precision and bench work in the fabrication, maintenance, repair and alteration of machinery, machine parts, tools and equipment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performs all tasks in a safe and responsible manner.

Adhere to safety policies and procedure

Read and interpret blueprints.

Use gauge and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements.

Use precision tools, machinery and equipment such as lathe, vertical milling machine, drill press, hydraulic press, chop saw, band saw, push and pull broaches and a variety of cutting tools and equipment.

Fabricates and shapes parts such as tools and machine parts out of metal, plastics and composites

Properly and safely selects, aligns, secures and removes holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories and materials onto machines

Recognizes, deploys and properly uses inserts, fixtures and tooling

Performs daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on machinery and

Equipment:

Ability to track parts and jobs in ERP system

Must be able to run, edit, and setup machines

Experience with the following machines a plus; Mori (DMU, DMF, DMG), Mazak, Sorluce, Komo Butler, Butler Marlin, Aweas, Okuma, and Datron.

Complies with all quality policies, specifications, regulations and instructions

Practiced in safe-work habits Operate the overhead cranes and fork lift effectively and safely.

WORK REQUIREMENT:

Must be able to hold tight tolerance plus or minus .001

Ability to read a tape measure

Ability to read and comprehend shop drawings

Ability to read blueprints

Ability to operate a variety of hand tools

Ability to work shift work (3/2/2 rotating days & nights each week)

Ability to meet production goals

Knowledge of mechanical tools

Ability to work overtime when required

MUST HAVE HS DIPLOMA OE GED (trade school highly preferred)

Must be able to pass background and drug screening

Must have 3 to 5 years of experience
