I'm looking for new bartenders for Uncle Gary's Bar in Pflugerville. Our staff has been making incredible tips from extremely generous and friendly neighbors of Uncle Gary!
You MUST have experience as a bartender or waitress and working in a fast paced environment. Our customers tip generously, but only for quick and friendly service. If you have to ask how to make a specific drink then you shouldn't apply as we will be testing your bartending knowledge before you're hired.
Bartender Qualifications:
1. Experienced in making a wide variety of drinks.
2. Work fast and efficiently (some days/nights you will be the only bartender on staff).
3. Ability to learn POS system. If computers scare you, you might want to stay at home under the covers.
4. Friendly. This does not mean you half fake a smile or are only friendly to patrons who over-tip you. We have a wide variety of regulars that come in on a weekly basis and they will weed out those bartenders who aren't genuinely friendly and quick to smile.
5. HONEST. I can't stress this one enough. We do not give away drinks and we do not "forget" to ring up drinks while serving your best tipping customers.
6. Hard working. Again, there will be many shifts where you will be responsible for the entire bar yourself. I need someone dependable and self-sufficient.
Waitress Qualifications:
1. Be friendly and efficient with your time.
2. Ability to multi-task
3. Must have current TABC Certificate and bring with you to interview
4. Be ready to make great tips
We have live music inside and outside 3-5 nights a week, so we bring in the crowds. This job will be hard at times, but it will be well worth it as you won't find another place in town where you'll make the tips you can at Uncle Gary's Bar.
