Software Engineering Manager who has excelled in leading SaaS platform teams.What you get to do:- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and development teams to generate practicable roadmaps
- Utilize your deep understanding of APIs, back-end services, and datastores to lead engineering teams in the development of complex SaaS-based software
- Continue honing and growing your people management skills through thoughtful feedback, coaching, collaboration, and support from senior leadership
- Play a key role in the hiring process for your development teams, including recruiting and on-going coaching
- Remove roadblocks and manage competing priorities as you ensure the timely delivery of high-quality SaaS solutions
Qualifications
What you need to succeed:- 3+ years of experience managing and coaching software engineering teams working on back-end APIs
- Track record of success in software engineering roles prior to moving into management role(s)
- Recent leadership/management experience within SaaS environment(s)
- Previous experience hiring, mentoring, and motivating teams of software engineers
- Strong communication and collaboration skills as you’ll be interfacing with stakeholders regularly
