Ackley Media Group, 105.3 JAMZ WVJZ-FM is looking for an experienced part-time On-Air Personality to wake up and entertain The Virgin Islands every morning from 6am to 10am.
If you are energetic, professional, reliable, and understand radio broadcasting, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
Provide creative and engaging content on-air, while enthusiastically executing the station format.
Ensures logged commercials, promotions, sweepers and any other programming element essential to the station's operations are aired.
Interview guests
Occasional commercial voice over production and hosting live remotes
May directly sell advertising space to advertisers.
Follow FCC regulations, station and company policies, including awareness of prohibited language on-air.
Qualifications:
Must be an excellent communicator, computer literate, and have a strong working knowledge of studio audio equipment necessary for on-air and production execution, including on-air digital systems such as Enco.
Excellent on-air voice with a demo is required.
Two or more years of on-air broadcast experience.
