We are currently seeking a Trimble Operator. The Trimble Operator is responsible for accurate layout, installation, and coordination of the electrical supports, equipment points, sleeves, and inserts as needed to maintain progress and or productivity on all types of construction sites. The successful candidate must be responsible, self-motivated and willing to work in a team environment.
Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities:
ï§ Primary Responsibility The Trimble Operator is responsible for accurate layout, installation, and coordination of the Electrical installation, equipment points, sleeves, and inserts as needed to maintain progress and or productivity on all types of construction sites.
ï§ Attend Coordination meetings and work with the team, provide recommendations on most productive way to lay out a project or area.
ï§ Consult with other team members to review project drawings for design accuracy and contract requirements
ï§ Must be willing and able to follow all jobsite rules and regulations.
ï§ Accurately layout points, collect data, perform mathematical calculations and Quality checks during the construction phase of a project.
ï§ Required to install hanger inserts, block outs or sleeves and any other project markers.
ï§ Effectively communicate plans, reports, and needs to the Superintendent as often as required by Project.
ï§ Provide technical support to project managers, field personnel, estimators and clients.
ï§ Maintain a high level of accuracy, productivity and safety in wide variety of working conditions.
ï§ Coordinate and perform work while managing stress and jobsite demands.
ï§ Properly care and maintain Trimble unit and all Associated equipment.
ï§ Proper use of all layout equipment.
Education and/or Experience:
ï§ Valid driver's license required
ï§ Experience using Trimble instruments and software are required - 1-2 years
ï§ Knowledge of mathematics needed for precise measurements and executions
ï§ High school diploma or equivalent
ï§ Has worked with or experience with Revit, this knowledge is not required but would be considered a strong asset if possessed.
Physical Demands:
ï§ Job requires working in all elements, depending on job location, time of year, heat, cold, rain, snow.
ï§ Must be able to utilize construction site sanitary facilities (Porta-Johns).
ï§ Employee's personal weight and personal tools cannot exceed weight limit of ladder (Class 1-250 lbs., Class 1A-300 lbs.).
ï§ Wear personal protective equipment (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, vest, at all times), respirator when required.
ï§ Climbing ladders and steep stairs, crawling, standing, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, sitting, reaching, able to routinely lift heavy objects in excess of 50 pounds and pushing and pulling of objects is required.
Electrical experience is preferred but not required.
