Equipment Managers Assistant
This position would assist the equipment manager in all areas related to repair, and maintenance of equipment.
Assess equipment needs and issues
Manage equipment part inventory
Ensure all repairs are input in the equipment log
Ensure all chainsaw, hedge trimmer, other blades are sharpened
Check tool condition and missing pieces daily
Promptly diagnose and repair equipment problems
If unsure of the problem, take equipment to be fixed
Make purchases for repairs and/or parts
Inspect for missing safety guards/etc. and report to operations manager
Keep the mixed fuel supply full by checking level and mixing fuel with supplied oil mix
Performs other duties necessary for the upkeep of our equipment
Sharing ideas for new ways to keep the equipment and lot in working order.
