The Content Marketing practice helps our clients tell great stories, fueled by data and objective analysis, which elevate their market presence and engage their buyers. Engagements for this practice include custom primary market research/analysis and the creation of marketing content for B2B technology marketers.You will be responsible for handling all incoming requests as they flow into the development team and owning them through the development lifecycle. You will play a critical role in the scrum team’s daily standups, testing, and demos. Over time, you will also develop the role to identify key improvements to the product functionality, scalability, and process. As a Product Owner on the Technology team, your job is to ensure the successful delivery of web-based deliverables projects for the Content Marketing team, and other projects as directed. You will also manage the relationship with our offshore Agile development vendor. You will be the champion for Agile processes as you work with key business stakeholders. This position is a critical role in our company because it connects client and business needs and requirements with our technical constraints and capabilities, to deliver creative and timely improvements that delight our internal and external clients. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are crucial as you delegate and clarify project feature enhancements in both technical and business terms.The Product Owner supports all Content Marketing web-based deliverable projects and other Technology Management projects as directed. Reporting to the VP, PMO, you will be responsible for executing projects within the Agile software development lifecycle.Your responsibilities include:

Leading project team members and high-level business stakeholders, including VPs and Directors, to deliver enhancements

Working with the non-technical team members to envision a clear, high-level technical solution that meets business and experience goals, without undue technical complexity

Identifying, sizing and prioritizing increments of work to be targeted for each iteration

Communicating the project status, readiness, issues and risks to management & stakeholders

Owning the process of documenting end user stories, project risks, and dependencies within a project backlog

Working closely with the project team to design, develop, test, and deploy enhancements based on Forrester’s Agile release process and iteration schedule

Helping define and establish Forrester’s Agile processes, standards, and best practices

BA/BS required

One to five years of full life-cycle Agile product ownership/business analysis work experience in a web development organization required

Demonstrated experience with Agile software development methods and roles

Strong analytical skills including ability to analyze business problems and isolate and advocate best technical solutions; comfortable operating in a uncertain environment

Proven success as an individual contributor, as well as a track record of strong positive teamwork, proactive collaboration, and effective problem resolution

Preferred familiarity with website technologies and offshore development vendor management
