OverviewThe Healthcare Recruiter, Wellpath Consultant is responsible for recruiting, interviewing, and referring applicants for a broad range of positions in an assigned region/territory. Recruiters collaborate with the regional manager and multiple hiring managers conducting intake meetings to gain perspective on each vacancy and determine a strategy for filling vacancies. This position will perform a wide variety of duties in a confidential manner, including administrative and clerical functions. This position is supported with a full suite of sourcing tools and a formal applicant tracking system.QualificationsEducation:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required

Experience:

Minimum of two (2) years Healthcare recruiting (Nurses, Physicians, Mental Health professionals to include Psychiatrists, Dentists, Psychologists, Social Workers, etc.) experience required.

Excellent organizational and communication skills required.

Previous experience with iCIMS CRM/ATS a plus.

Previous experience in recruiting for mental health professionals, a plus.

Previous agency recruitment experience, a plus.

Licenses/Certifications:

None required.

Responsibilities

Develops and implements targeted recruitment strategies. Assists in establishing best practice recruitment efforts and adjust recruitment strategy as needed.

Develops professional relationships with the hiring managers and executives to be used as a strong resource in the recruitment process.

Using all resources available, source candidates to meet client needs.

Conduct telephone and personal interviews with candidates for employment.

Work with departments to manage and update applicant database/tracking system (ATS) to maintain records, reports and logs pertaining to applicant flow, interviews conducted and staffing.

Conduct employment verifications, reference checks, coordinating background investigations, physicals, drug test, on-boarding of new hires, etc.

Verify licensures and credentials for all required positions.

Meets with the candidate to review paperwork and instructions.

Assists with orientation for new hires and administers new hire paperwork to employees.

Enters new hire information and changes into the HRIS system.

Place advertising, verify advertising invoices, and track advertisement costs.

Contact assigned colleges and various other groups regarding employment opportunities. Coordinate and attend recruiting events such as job fairs. Coordinate internship opportunities with school partners.

Provide information and answer all questions from potential applicants regarding positions for which they are interested, including but not limited to pay rate, work hours, physical requirements and detailed information on all duties they would perform in that position. Inform applicant of various company policies and benefits.

Track and analyze success of recruitment efforts, recruiting costs, time to hire, etc.

Maintain Position Control and Recruitment Reports and ensure information is accurate and proper staffing needs are met for each site.

Create offer letters and ensure necessary paperwork for new-hires is completed and forwarded to appropriate departments prior to start date.

Assists with maintaining departmental files including official personnel files ensuring that employee information is filed accurately and in a timely manner.

Refers employees to the correct area for the completion of benefit enrollment or changes.

Answers employee questions regarding HR information, (i.e. handbook information and policies and procedures). Refers questions to Manager of Human Resources as appropriate.

Maintains a tracking system to ensure performance appraisals are distributed in a timely manner.

Sends past due reminder notices to managers. Communicates with managers to ensure performance appraisals are completed on time and any subsequent merit increases submitted in advance of its effective date.

Must be able to apply principles of critical thinking to a variety of practical and emergent situations and accurately follow standardized procedures that may call for deviations.

Must be able to apply sound judgment beyond a specific set of instructions and apply knowledge to different factual situations.

Must be alert at all times; pay close attention to details.

Must be able to work under stress on a regular or continuous basis.

Perform other duties as assigned.
