SUMMARY:
We are currently looking to fill the position of Distribution Warehouse Manager to handle daily operations of our 77,000 SQ FT warehouse located in Memphis, TN. Role will include responsibility for receiving, stocking & warehouse organization, picking, packing, shipping, freight, returns & transfer. The successful applicant will maintain high levels of accuracy in day-to-day operations, lead and develop his/ her warehouse team of 10 personnel and provide impeccable customer service to our internal and external customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
ASSOCIATE RELATIONS
Prepare, maintain and communicate all operational goals while ensuring all operational procedures are being followed per company guidelines
Manage, coach, mentor, and develop staff to achieve objectives; conduct performance reviews
Perform Managerial responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and procedures
Address complaints and resolve problems
Ensure safety of personnel and compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations
CUSTOMER RELATIONS
Provide superior service through professional and courteous relationships with all customer
Interface with internal stakeholders as well as customers to establish and accomplish goals
Communicate progress/conditions as directed by Senior management
Audit operations to ensure service standards are being met
Create and deliver effective verbal/ visual presentations to management and customers as needed
OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE
Ensure company Quality Policy is being observed and adhered to, throughout the operation
Monitor space utilization/layout to ensure efficient and cost effective operations
Monitor /ensure departmental (KPIs) are met in a timely and cost effective manner
Ensure proper maintenance and sanitation of equipment, grounds, pest control and refuse disposal
BUSINESS PROFITABILITY
On-going management of facility fiscal performance including P&L and budgeting
Ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of all necessary reports and records regarding facility operations
Manage inbound and outbound loading/unloading, accuracy of inventory and warehousing
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Warehouse environment subject to exterior weather conditions
Regular keyboarding with ability to learn new systems
Constant walking, standing, lifting and repetitive motion(s)
ADDITIONAL SKILLS:
Experience with serialized lot controlled inventory (REQUIRED)
Multi Bin Locator experience (REQUIRED)
Lean Manufacturing Background (DESIRED)
RCCA (Root Cause Corrective Action) (DESIRED)
5 + years of progressive leadership experience in a distribution environment (DESIRED)
BA/BS degree in Management, Business, Transportation, or Operations curriculum (DESIRED)
