We are a very large, well respected and busy Veterinary Practice in Chattanooga. Our clients have voted us the Best Practice locally for 8 straight years! We serve a large client base and assist hundreds of animals each week. Part of the Veterinary Service we offer is boarding and care for our clients pets.
Our Boarding facility is not just a kennel! Our team members learn the medical aspects of Veterinary Care and are trained on what to watch for while caring for our patients. Kennel team members have the medical and management support in learning Veterinary Terminology, Pharmacy, Geriatric Care, etc while caring for patients. We are not the type of facility where you simply watch dogs at play. We are very interactive with the medical aspects of the business- even in our boarding kennel! Furthermore, our kennel team members have access to exceptional Veterinary care for their own pets.
We are open 7 days per week but our Kennel team members work a 5 day work week. Weekend and Holiday availability rotation is required; however there are extra financial incentives to working these times. When working a weekend, you will still generally only work 5 days. In addition for financial incentives, we offer some extra perks for your pet if you work in the kennel area of our Practice.
We are looking for a team member who wants to join our group and if interested and has the fortitude, drive and aptitudes; we can discuss promotion into a Veterinary Kennel Management position. This comes with many perks.
We would be willing to train the right candidate; however, previous work with animals is a definite plus.
