Regardless on how well you have saved, prepared, planned - waking up to find out your job no longer exists is a awful situation no one ever wants to find themselves in. We want to do want we can to lessen the load and stress from these drivers. The best thing we can offer at this time is a well paying job to those who are in need. We will take on as many LME Drivers that apply, we will buy and/or rent new trucks to cover the influx as needed. We will turn away 0 qualified drivers.
Here at Greater Omaha Express, we are the in-house carriers for Greater Omaha Packing. We are a regional carrier, with a strong focus on the central time zone. While we are not an LTL carrier like LME, we travel many of the same areas, and have more loads than drivers. We can have you back to working again ASAP.
Recruiting pitch below - but regardless on your future plans, know that this is coming from a place of consideration and sympathy. We can only shudder at the unimaginable place that sudden closures like this leave our fellow Americans, our brothers and sisters, hundreds of our Highway guardians, in.

Minimum requirements are:
2 Years of recent Tractor Trailer Experience (OTR preferred)
No at Fault Accidents involving injuries (last 5 years)
No disqualifying moving Violations in the last 3 years; Speeding (15 MPH over or more), Following to closely, Improper/Erratic Lane Change, etc
Call/Email/Text anytime - I understand that many drivers aren't working on a "9-5" type schedule. You aren't bugging me, I promise.
