OPPORTUNITY IN THE AMERICAN WEST : ENJOY COOL MOUNTAIN BREEZE AND AMERICAN HISTORY AS A LINE COOK FOR CUSTER STATE PARK
POSITION: A hands-on working position that supports the mission of a profitable and efficient kitchen operation by striving to ensure product standards and quality. Works in food preparation, kitchen line or banquet line.
INTERESTS : Must be willing to adventure into the picturesque Southern Black Hills region of Custer State Park near Custer, South Dakota. QUALIFICATIONS: Prefer candidates available now until – Nov 1st. Work commitment times can be negotiated. Seeking line cook with at least one year previous kitchen line experience. Must be able to work sautee, grill or broil station with moderate volume. Need ability to be self-directed and to accomplish assigned tasks. Must have some knowledge of food safety practices. Need good team skills, high energy and quality food orientation.
LOCATION : Custer State Park Resorts is nestled in the Southern Black Hills National Forest Region. The Black Hills are a busy tourist destination for horseback trail rides, old west cookouts, hiking, climbing, biking and fly fishing. Breathtaking Forest backgrounds, panoramic mountain views and abundant wildlife such as deer, elk and on of the nation’s largest buffalo herd are all a part of the scenery.
