Lead a team of Nursing staff that supports over 100+ bed facility,

Sioux Falls Village will celebrate 50 years in September of providing excellence in care supporting employees and patients alike.

To help meet the growing demand for long-term care, Good Samaritan Society – Sioux Falls Village provides the following services Long-term nursing care, Inpatient rehabilitation therapy, Outpatient therapy, and Memory Care units.

Your contribution to the team

Play a crucial role in leading care for our residents with excellent clinical and leadership skills; promotes cooperative working relationship between departments and supervisory oversight of residents and employees responsibilities simultaneously.

Individual should be dedicated to encouraging and developing nursing staff through empowerment, training, recognition with both traditional and nontraditional approaches.

Formulates and works within annual budget, recruits, hires and staffs work areas at appropriate levels by utilizing scheduling system accurately.

Participates in state and/or federal nursing home survey process; writes any resulting plan of correction (POC) and ensures it is carried out. Participates in the QA/CQI process.

Responsible to lead the management and monitoring/auditing of the EMR in the location; to include training, documentation, reports/dashboards and retrieval management and monitoring/auditing.

You’re a good fit if

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and registered nurse licensure for state of practice required.

Prior work experience in Long Term Care, Compliance or Quality as well as leadership experience is required.

Ability to communicate and comprehend.

Knowledge of basic nursing skills; knowledge and familiarity with the therapeutic effects and side effects of all medications administered.
