Stonewalls Kitchen is currently hiring both full and part-time experienced kitchen staff members. Applicants must have at least 2 years related experience-fast food service does not apply.
Job duties and expectations are as follows: Prepares and plates food according to daily needs with minimal waste and the intent to exceed customer expectations. Follows build sheets/portion counts and recipes as written. Follows safety guidelines for food handling/preparation and maintains the cleanliness of all work areas. Follows open and close checklists for kitchen stations. Attends occasional staff meetings.
Candidates should possess the following qualities: Positive attitude and the ability to work both independently and cooperate with co-workers as part of a team. Willingness to follow direction and ask questions for clarification if needed. Ability to establish priorities, manage time effectively, and multi-task several requests at one time. Effective verbal and written communication skills; basic math skills. Knowledge and understanding of the functions of the food service industry.
Physical Demands: Lifting up to 50lbs and the ability to stand for long periods of time.
