Daily functions will consist of conducting financial modeling on various financial products as well as measuring, analyzing, and forecasting performance in conjunction with operating plans, advising management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives, and preparing reports for management. This Financial Analyst role, which is located in the Summerville, South Carolina, is a full-time employment opportunity. Look over performance to date while assessing potential opportunities and risks
Collaborate with senior executives on strategic deep dives through the development of financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, Campaign Planning & Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, event tracking and execution, strategic resource allocation, and prioritization
Provide valuable foresight and decision support through effective Business Intelligence (BI)
Assemble and review forecasting reports
The ideal candidate should be a highly flexible individual who is comfortable with large amounts of information and adept at managing expectations
Track monthly and quarterly performance through comparison of actuals versus expectations and enable business partners to handle their resources
Understand and be able to explain internal and external drivers impacting performance and trending
Drive P&L forecasting and Area/Segment-level Bookings on a weekly, quarterly and annual basis
Work with the Accounting team on monthly and quarterly financial close processes
Ensure plans are properly executed by working with cross-functional partners in Accounting and Operations
Propel monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and actions necessary
Requirements
Able to build and deliver effective presentations to audiences with wide-ranging backgrounds
Financial planning & analysis (go-to-market experience ideal)
Experience in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)
BA/BS degree in finance or a related field
Eager problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively throughout all levels of the company
KPI Reporting experience
Financial analysis experience
Spreadsheet and ERP system experience is ideal, but not required
Understanding of Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools required
Experience in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)
