Job ResponsibilitiesUnder direct supervision, performs receiving, checking, storage and other duties related to maintaining a warehouse, supply room or storeroom. Assists in coordinating the receiving, storage, and disposal of obsolete, junked, and unserviceable property. Unloads vehicles delivering property to the Supply Depot and organizes property for inspection by the Surplus Property Office and assists in loading property for transport. Requisitions and issues parts, supplies and equipment. Assists shop foreman and mechanics in procuring correct repair parts for vehicles and heavy equipment. Employee is required to assist with posting mechanics parts and labor on job sheets. Operates two way radio relaying and receiving messages from road crews to repair shop staff. Required to work during emergencies and inclement weather.
