Job DescriptionThe Maintenance 1st Class is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance performance on all production processes and equipment. Must possess a thorough understanding of the operation and be willing to acquire additional technical training to further enhance abilities that will meet individual and company needs. NATURE & SCOPE OF POSITION: This position requires the knowledge of Lubrication, Machine Shop, Fluid Power, Air Power Systems, Power Transmission, Rigging, Cutting & Welding, Project Management (CMMS), Equipment / System Operational Checks, Electrical Equipment, Preventive Maintenance, Troubleshooting Hydraulic Systems, Troubleshooting Pneumatic Systems, Pumps. Positive working attitude toward other employees; be a team player. Work with others constructively and abide by company policies and procedures. Working together as a team for continuous improvement is vital to ensure the future of CertainTeed and its employees.
