Job DescriptionWhat You’ll Get to Do: CACI has an immediate need for an Information System Security Engineer to work in our Charleston, SC office. The is an Entry level position with tremendous growth opportunity on an Information Security team, specializing in Information System Security Engineering (ISSE).More About the Role:
Deploying and operating industry standard vulnerability scanners (Nessus), configuration management and orchestration tools, identity and access management controls, etc.
Updating POA&Ms, trackers, and multiple A&A packages.
Entering findings and vulnerabilities into the IBM Rational Tool Suite for analysis, severity, triage, and remediation.
Proactive collaboration and communication both internally within the CACI Information Assurance team (Application Security) and externally with the ProdOps and Architecture teams.
You’ll Bring these Qualifications:
One to three years of experience in Information Technology.
Basic understanding of information systems, cloud technologies, and information security
Associates degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Cyber Security, or related field, preference given to bachelor’s degree in same
Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Functional knowledge of one or more of the following: RHEL, OpenShift, Chef, Nessus Security Center, AWS Config, AWS IAM, AWS CloudTrail, AWS CloudWatch, AWS KMS, etc.
Previous CTF or simulated Red Team / Blue Team experience at any level.
Entry level InfoSec certifications, such as CompTIA Security+ are strongly preferred.
