The Property Maintenance Supervisor reports to the Property Manager and is responsible for the overall appearance and maintenance of the apartment community. The Maintenance Supervisor must maintain the curb appeal of the property daily with the assistance of multiple Maintenance Technicians. They are responsible for the supervision and assignment of tasks to all maintenance personnel. In addition they are responsible for supervising the work performed by outside vendors/contractors. The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the coordination of make-readies and communicating move-in/move-out schedules with the Property Manager as well as updating this information in Yardi.
We are looking for candidates with strong apartment maintenance experience (at least 3 years). Minimum 1 year related experience as a Maintenance Supervisor. Must be an excellent leader, a team player and well organized. CFC and CPO Certification required. The successful candidate will have a valid driver's license, experience in managing teams in the apartment industry and be responsible for plumbing, electrical, access control and HVAC maintenance as well as any other duties assigned by the Property Manager. We're looking for a professional who can take the initiative and help anticipate problems before they occur. The ideal candidate will be able to communicate effectively with their team, tenants, visitors and anyone else he or she encounters on the job. On call rotation also required.
