We work with families who have experienced a life challenge, including moving, a death, a disability, divorce, or individuals facing the challenges associated with aging. Our job is to reduce stress during some of the toughest emotional times in people's lives. We need people with a real servant's heart! Our crews are small, so at times everyone must pitch in with whatever needs to be done.
A Transition Associate may help with relocations, including sorting and packing household items, overseeing movers, unpacking, and resettling belongings in the new home.
A Transition Associate may also help with estate sales and online auctions, including sorting, staging, organizing lots, pricing, managing the actual sale or auction pickup, and carrying leftover items to donation, recycling and trash. Also carrying items to a shipper to help distribute items to family or send to auction winners. Some cleaning and sweeping/vacuuming will be required no housekeeping services.
A Transition Associate may help provide a simple clean out of a home, loading a dumpster or truck to leave the house empty and swept clean.
Our work is performed in people's homes, so you will be subject to a background check. It also means you will need to travel to the job site, wherever that takes us, both coming and going. You must have a reliable vehicle. No overnights, but there could be an occasional long day.
The work is flexible often part-time to full time, depending on workload requirements. We can't guarantee hours, but we're BUSY. We love our work and how it helps for our clients and their families. Please email your interest or resume.
