Now Hiring for Immediate Need of Property Maintenance Technician!
Summary of Position:
- Assists and supports the General Manager in the daily operation of maintenance for the property management portfolio
- Shall perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: unit inspections, trash out, general maintenance services, troubleshooting repairing or replacing appliances, light fixtures, plumbing fixtures, basic HVAC maintenance, pressure washing, landscaping (touch up)
- Also provides superlative service to Absolute Island Management: tenants and co-workers in performing all duties
- Advancement opportunity into leadership of special team crew for unit turn, renovation, and company expansion
Technician - Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ability to perform general maintenance including:
- Changing filters, lights, batteries, fixtures, blinds, garbage disposal, GFCI
- Repair and replace toilets and faucets
- Replace ceiling fans, light fixtures, switches, and outlets
- Replace locks
- Replace appliances
- Painting (residential interior)
- Occasional condo to dump runs
- Occasional mow, edge, blow of residential yards
- Shall perform other duties as needed
- Follows detailed worksheet for routine inspections
- Keeps all related equipment clean, organized, maintained and stored properly
- Keeps equipment storage room and maintenance truck neat, clean and organized
- Completes inventory of supplies and informs manager when additional supplies are needed
- Inspects occupied homes and completes inspection reports on move in/outs
- Recommends services to GM and BIC (Broker-In-Charge)
Qualifications:
- Must be able to communicate clearly with managers and other personnel
- Input data onto computer/tablets, general IT familiarity including excel and email
- Ability to lift 35 lbs
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
- Clean, valid driver's license
