CNC Programming/machinist
Searching for EXPERIENCED (minimum 5 years) CNC programmer/machinist for Mazak turning centers and machining centers. MUST be very familiar with Mastercam programing and also EIA/ISO M & G code format. Experience with Mazatrol conversational programing helpful. Full or part time positions available. Must be able to program, set-up, and run Mazak turning center and machining center. Job shop environment: lots of set-ups and mostly short run jobs. Must do quick and accurate programs and set ups. First shift (4 Ten hour days, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday-Thursday).
Able to complete all phases of machining. Proficiency in the use of indicator, gauge, dial bores, and plate inspection methods for first article and in-process inspection of precision machined parts. Understanding of machine tool clearances, setting accuracy, fixture offsets, and cutting tool offsets. Knowledge of cutting tool feeds, speeds, and tool hard turning and/or milling applications. Ability to follow verbal instructions and interpret blue print and quality requirements. Ability to read both first angle and third angle projection created drawings. Knowledge of European tolerance requirements.
Create and maintain orderly records of programs and inspections.
Assist owner in estimating run times for parts before sales.
