Come work at one of the worlds leading manufacturers of construction and mining equipment. This Greenwood County facility produces specialty castings for engines and transmissions.
Ideal employee will have heavy industrial experience, preferably in a weld shop type environment. Metal working experience is helpful but not required.
Brief Description:
Complete full visual inspections of all castings.
Breaks sand mold from finished casting.
Sorts castings into pairs or groups for assembly.
Cleans castings, patterns, and flasks using wire brush or hand tools.
Removes excess material from surfaces and polish metal castings.
Breaks up used sand molds, shovels sand into sand-mixing machine, and sifts sand through motor-driven
screen for reuse in new molds.
Prepares plaster and relines ladle.
Night Shift - 7:00PM-5:30AM.
Monday - Thursday and OT on Friday as needed
Pay rate: $16.25/per hour
INCREASE TO $18/per hour AFTER 90 DAYS
Weekend Shift
Friday/Saturday/Sunday
Pay rate: $15.50 - work 36 hours and paid for 40
