Sous Chef
Location: Mill Spring, NC
Schedule:
Full time, consistent schedule with guaranteed hours
The position offers benefits, retirement plan, PTO/sick time
Responsibilities:
· Timely preparation and buffet style service of scheduled meals and snacks
· Maintains cleanliness of the kitchen and equipment
· Follows all applicable health code regulations
· Ability to accommodate specific dietary needs
· Assists in the dish room as needed
· Performs other job related duties as assigned by the Executive Chef
Qualifications:
· Associates Degree in Culinary Arts and/or 3-5 years of experience
· Thorough knowledge of whole food cuisine
· Ability to work as a team and communicate effectively both orally and in writing
· Experience working with adults coping with mental health challenges is preferred
