What you will do
Under general direction, lead/guide Customer Service Representative(s). Resolve routine customer service issues/escalate to manager when necessary. Assist in Customer Service Operations. Controls daily input and output of customer orders to the production floor and transportation.
How you will do it
Supervise employee(s) and ensure that they are familiar with Company rules and regulations. Administer the health, environmental and safety program in the work center; enforces health, environmental and safety standards, work practices and housekeeping.
May be involved in the recruitment, retention, counseling/discipline, performance assessment and termination of employees under area of responsibility.
Instruct and train personnel to perform work assignments efficiently and safely.
Assign work to meet daily manufacturing requirements.
Attend applicable meetings pertinent to the department in lieu of manager.
Interact with internal and external customers to relay their needs and communicate the expected results back to the customer.
Answer incoming customer calls and use independent judgment to take necessary action.
Manage specific customer accounts and the needs associated with those accounts. To include order processing, monitoring orders for accurate information, and benchmarking
Warranty Processing to include approving and monitoring that warranties are processed according to the customers requirements.
Monitor loads and orders to ensure on time delivery.
Log/track Customer Concerns.
May perform customer visits.
Performs any other duties assigned.
What we look for
Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Supply Chain, or related field is required
Minimum three (3) years customer service experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment is required
Minimum two (2) years of supervisory/leadership experience required
Excellent people and communication skills
May need to work extended/flexible work hours
Bilingual Spanish is a plus (not required)
Microsoft Office Suite (primarily Excel)
Ability to multi-task and critical thinking skills a plus
