TNG is a leading merchandising company in the USA, servicing over 70,000 retail locations throughout the country. We provide our retail partners with a wide range of services which include: POG maintenance, product or shelf tag scanning, POP placement, inventory counts and product ordering, store resets, building displays, visual merchandising, and reporting. We currently have an opening for a Remodel Team Lead to manage a grocery install project.
Project Date: 10 week project starts August 5th, 2019
Start Time: 7 AM Start Monday-Friday (work 1 store each day)
Route Covers stores in the following area: Columbia, SC
WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
You will manage a team of merchandisers to complete a full scale front end fixture install in major grocery chains. Task would include removing old displays and merchandise along with building and displaying new product. Responsible for ensuring resets completed by outside vendors are properly stocked and priced, and damaged products are identified and processed according to procedures.
Team Leads responsibilities include:
Working directly with store management to execute install project
Manage full scope of install project
Training and develop reset merchandisers
POG maintenance
Tagging new product
Build displays
A FEW THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW
Must be 18 years of age.
1+ years' time experience as a merchandiser or equivalent experience/exposure.
Remodel merchandising experience preferred but not required
Knowledge of the construction, display or general directions for building.
Handle light power tools, (drills), and manual tools, (hammer, screw drivers etc.)
This is a physical job and requires candidates to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform tasks that involve stooping, walking, bending, climbing stair/ladders and standing on concrete for long periods of time.
Be flexible and willing to adapt to changing market needs.
Display professional, self-driven, positive attitude integrity and ability work well in public settings.
Have an active and reliable telephone for daily communication.
Reliable form of transportation and auto insurance preferred
Must have a valid email address for daily communication and access to a computer/internet/printer.
Be able to travel throughout a non-designated geographic region, as requested.
Basic math skills, ability to estimate quantities.
