DescriptionA regional financial institution located in the Columbia area is seeking a Sr Internal Auditor to join their IA Team. The Sr Internal Auditor will perform all aspects of audits including planning, fieldwork, resolution of audit issues and report writing. The position is responsible for financial, operational and compliance audits. The role can be based at any of the branches or potentially remote for the right candidate.RequirementsThe ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, 6-8 years of experience in a banking environment or public accounting handling financial institution audits, and a strong understanding of internal audit practices. Excellent communication skills are vital.
