Parsons is seeking a candidate with the desire to enhance facilities operations at one of our locations.Role:Our Facilities Coordinator will manage all facility related activities at the property. This includes coordinating employee moves/adds/changes. Additionally, monitoring work order requests expeditiously and bringing them to a satisfactory conclusion will be an important part of the role. The successful candidate will showcase their ability to function as the liaison with building property management. You may also perform in a lead capacity for a group of non-exempt employees engaged in one or more aspects of facilities maintenance (both inside and outside) within a building complex. Must be able to be on-call for after hours emergencies.Responsibilities:

Serves as prime liaison with building management and maintenance for one office location.

Serves primary employee point of contact for all facility related issues for one office location.

Coordinates and manages vendor/service provider activities.

Arranges for after hours heating, venting, and air conditioning as needed.

Reviews facilities projects with Assigned Business Unit Region Manager or Deputy Region Manager for approval.

Coordinates with Assigned Business Unit Region Manager or Deputy Region Manager on all facilities related matters.

Coordinates with other Assigned Business Unit support functions (Repro/IS/Security).

Maintains local evacuation plans for emergencies.

Acts as Security/Emergency Coordinator, supporting office business continuity plan (Safety coordination if Safety is not represented on site).

Prepares and plans for annual budget as necessary.

Monthly reporting to include Workplace Risk Assessment, Office Space Estimate (OSE), Occupancy Report and Recycling Report.

Maintains MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets) for products used onsite.

Acts as member of Office Safety Committee.

Attends scheduled facility team meetings.

Encourages safe and secure work environment and practices.

Ensures adherence to all corporate, contractual, ethics and safety standards, policies and procedures.

Provides oversight to other facility staff including receptionists and mail room personnel.

Coordinates with Talent Management to on-board and off-board employees.

Performs other responsibilities unique to the location.

Qualifications:

High school diploma (or equivalent) and typically 8+ years of related experience, including some experience in a lead capacity. Some college level education or facilities related certification coursework preferred.

Strong written/oral communication, organizational, interpersonal, and customer service skills are required.

Demonstrated proficiency in the use of internet search engines, electronic mail systems, and spreadsheets is required.

Working knowledge of company policies and procedures is preferred.

Ability to work on individual tasks and team tasks.

Ability to work with various levels of staff.

Must function effectively under time constraints, schedule workload to meet deadlines, and have the ability to prioritize.

Applies knowledge and skills to details of work.

Familiarity with codes and regulations covering facility maintenance and workers’ safety.

Ability to clearly deliver work instructions.
