ECS is seeking a
Cloud Administrator to work in our Charleston, SC office. Job Description: The Cloud Administrator will play an integral role on the NIWC Atlantic Cybersecurity Service Provider (CSSP) Infrastructure and Platform Sustainment (CIPS) team supporting remote virtual machines and networks. The candidate is expected to have administration skills with cloud technologies from Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Microsoft Azure, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). This position will focus on systems and application stability, security, performance, and capacity management, as well as documentation.- Responsible for the sustainment of systems within enterprise-class environment
- Provide support for emergent cloud platform issues
- Provisioning and de-provisioning cloud resources
- Deploying, managing, and operating cloud environments
- Managing tags and creating cost reports
- Defining and managing access controls on cloud platforms
- Working with internal teams to troubleshoot platform-related issues
- Creating and maintaining process and technical documentation
- Other Duties as assigned
- Up to 10% Travel May be required
- Possess a high school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 4 years or more hands-on experience provisioning, operating, and maintaining systems running on AWS, or Azure, or OCI:
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux and/or Windows operating system installation, configuration, administration, troubleshooting, performance tuning, preventative maintenance, capacity planning, monitoring, and security procedures.
- Traditional Active Directory and Azure AD forests, domains, group policy management, OU/security group/user/computer object administration, Sites and Services, DNS, and DHCP.
- Intermediate level networking skills and troubleshooting experience
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification & DoD 8570 CSSP Infrastructure Support Certification
- VMWare vSphere 6.x
- Server hardware installation, maintenance and troubleshooting
- Networking (LAN/WAN/Firewall/VPN/PPS)
- DISA Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) compliance
- Experience working in classified spaces
