Peachy Clean of Charleston is looking for a determined and self-motivated individual to manage a current staff of 10. Previous management experience is absolutely necessary and previous experience managing a cleaning service is a major bonus. This position comes with a lot of flexibility and ability to work remotely & independently. This person would be responsible for the day-to-day operations and including but not limited to the following duties:
- Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
- Follow-up with customers regarding their cleaning estimates. On-site estimates as needed.
- Book services for customers
- Keep up with daily operations and employees in the field
- Employee scheduling
- Emails, phone calls, and other communication tools
- Assist in implementing new training protocol, checklists & systematic processes for effective training
- Provide on-going coaching and guidance for Housekeepers to ensure consistency in standards
- Coordinate all training sessions including initial orientation
- Ensure all team member training, documentation and paperwork is completed in the required timeframe
- Create and develop training materials and programs
- Hiring & firing
- Inspections
Qualifications:
- Previous Housekeeping experience
- Previous management experience
- Computer literate / tech savvy
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
- Ability to handle difficult situations with grace. Must possess strength of character and ability to "dust yourself off" and get right back up on the horse. :)
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
- Ability to focus attention on client & employee needs, remaining calm and courteous
- Report to Owner with updates and end-of-week summary reports
