Seeking a Full-Time Receptionist/Customer Service Representative
Job Brief
We are seeking a full-time Receptionist to manage incoming phone calls, return messages, check customer order status updates, and check and respond to incoming emails.
As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our company. Our Receptionist’s duties include offering administrative support across the organization and providing customer service both over the phone and through email correspondence. To be successful at this position, you should have a pleasant personality, as it is both a reception and customer service role. You should have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as you will be the person primarily responsible for fielding phone calls and emails to the company. Multitasking and organizational skills are essential for this position.
Ultimately, the Customer Service Representative and Receptionist’s duties and responsibilities are to ensure the guests are greeted positively and any and all inquiries are answered in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls
Check all incoming voicemail messages and respond in a timely manner
Greet customers and clients who visit the office and direct them as needed
Check and respond to all incoming email correspondence
Provide basic and accurate information via phone/email
Assist with ordering office supplies and materials
Access customer order information to provide order status updates
Perform other clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, and faxing as needed
Requirements
Proven work experience as a receptionist and/or customer service representative
Basic technical knowledge on Windows platform, with Microsoft Office a plus
Basic technical knowledge with multi-line phone systems
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Professional attitude
Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
Excellent organizational skills
Customer service attitude
Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
High school degree or equivalent
